Experience
I graduated from the University of Texas, where I majored in mathematics. While attending college, I worked part-time as a tutor. I am currently working as a math teacher at the high school level. While it has been a while since I've tutored, I have a strong desire to get back into it because I enjoyed doing it back in college. I am comfortable tutoring students in a wide variety of math related subjects, including algebra, competition math, pre-algebra, trigonometry, and geometry. I find tutoring personally rewarding because I feel like it is a way I can use my knowledge in mathematics to help others. I understand that mathematics can be difficult. Thus, as someone who understands it, I do my best to help others understand it as well. I tend to be pretty easy-going, but I also take tutoring seriously because I also understand the value of time. My goal as a tutor is to ensure that each tutoring session is both pleasant and worthwhile. It is also a priority of mine to make sure that my students are able to reach all of their goals. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy playing video games.
